Santa Teresa is well known for its waves and is inviting to surfers and swimmers of all levels. Surf lessons are available in town and our Resort has boards, both surf and boogie, for guest use. You can also choose to explore the tide pools or enjoy an afternoon horseback ride alongside the water.

A diverse assortment of restaurants can be found in both towns, offering tourists international culinary choices: American, Brazilian, Middle Eastern, Italian, Japanese and of course, typical Costa Rican! Many of the restaurants also have cocktail bars and dancing after hours.

The jungle meets the coastline here at Latitude 10°, allowing you to discover the natural world up close. You will see, and hear, all types of animals…birds, iguanas, monkeys and you may even come across a sea turtle or two at the beach! If you’re on a boat excursion, you may have the opportunity to see dolphins, whales and flying fish!
